Afternoon,

If you've never seen the Heidelberg Street in Downtown Detroit, wait for a warmer day.

I loved the scenery down there and met two of the artists responsible for the work. I loved it, it was nice. But like I said, pick a warmer day.

Belle Isle is nice too. Cold too.

After, the group went to the Majestic Cafe/Garden Bowl/Sargent Pepperoni/Magic Stick.  A dope artist by the name of Mayer Hawthorne walked passed me and I recognized him; barely. The photographer confirmed and we kept stepping. 

Shit, caught me by surprise no doubt.

So here's an update on everything right now.

I'm honestly feeling kinda stressed right now. I feel like all hell is breaking loose and it's a shitty feeling. Between my mom making me help her wrap every single gift she bought (besides mine) and not having time to make a beat or work on college essays or keep up with friends and my g/f. Hot Damn. Things seemed quieter while school was in session. Now I'm running around pissing my pants. FML.

Apollo Brown the other night and I gave him Dap for the work he did on Contra, which was featured on "The Leftovers" Mixtape Elzhi released just recently.

Supposidly when I was outside with Taylor and such, Apollo put some of his new joints on. I cannot believe I missed them. Hot damn.

Missed Oppertunities....

The other night,

I was with my friends (Taylor, Gene, Andy and Keith). They decided to go to a beat contest at BCK(Bobs Classic Kicks) down Woodward a ways. Previous to this, you know, Taylor was begging me to enter the contest and such in order to show off my beats to the world, and potentially win 300 bucks.

Requirements: 15 beats and 25 bucks to enter.

Hot Damn, I CANNOT believe I passed up on that opportunity.

It's not until you hear 6 consistently mediocre producers, do you realize what kind of potential you have.

Apollo Brown was there though and I gave him a word of appreciation with some dap attached to it for his work on Contra. Good shit.

Moral is, when someone tells you to bring your beats and 25 bucks, do it. Don't miss out on opportunities.

Still, overall

• Burial- A Very Somber take on Dubstep. I like to call it "Noise Art" It so interesting, because in most of his songs, he samples other songs, manipulates a voice into a different tone, and gives it a new meaning, very deep.
